Faulkner Real Estate has landed another financial-industry tenant for its Ormsby Three office building.

Northwestern Mutual Financial Network will open its second Louisville office there in December, according to a news release. The 150,000-square-foot building opened in January in the Forest Green Corporate Office Park, near the intersection of North Hurstbourne Parkway and Dorsey Lane.

Eight of Northwestern Mutual's advisers and staff members will relocate to the 5,000-square-foot office.

Currently, they are located at the company's 14,000-square-foot office on the 19th floor of the downtown Meidinger Tower. That office will remain open.

The new office will include meeting and conference space for all Northwestern Mutual financial representatives in the area to meet with clients.

"Our business in the Louisville area is growing at an incredible rate, and we wanted to make it more accessible for our East End clients to meet with our financial representatives in their own neighborhood," Dan Rivers, managing partner of the Kentucky/Southern Indiana Group of Northwestern Mutual, said in a news release.

In addition to Northwestern Mutual, Ormsby Three is home to AXA Advisors LLC, Colonial Insurance, the Federal Aviation Administration, Nice-Pak and United Glass.

As Business First reported in June, Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc. also has taken space in the building.
