The Dish | Third Wild Eggs to open

posted: 2/6/2010

J.D. Rothberg and Shane Hall are so wild about their Wild Eggs concept that they're opening a third location.

Wild Berry crepes, Surfer Girl omelets and their menu siblings are coming to Landis Lakes, on Shelbyville Road across from Lake Forest. Construction is scheduled to begin by March 15, with an opening planned for mid-July.

The 4,400-square-foot building will have the same design and ambience as the other two locations, 3985 Dutchmans Lane and 1311 Herr Lane at Westport Village, and will offer patio seating.

Rothberg says he also has signed a letter of intent on a fourth property and has plans for a total of six or seven Wild Eggs in the Louisville area.
